Yadira Ferrer Rey was born in the town of Holguín, in Cuba. The young Singer, Pianist and Songwriter, started studying music when she was 9 years old. After graduating as a choir conductor at the “Holguín Conservatory“, she studied classical and contemporary singing at the “Superior Institute of Art in Havana“. At the age of twenty she moved to Barcelona, where the cuban musician finished her studies at the “Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya”. During her career Yadira has participated in various projects; such as “Yonder de Jesús and Banda Ashé”, “Block 53”, “Entre Orillas” and many others. She has also participated in a lot of classical music, salsa and world music festivals throughout Europe. In the year 2017 the Artist presented the first time her personal project, in which she invites us to a walk through the roots, the legacy and the future of Cuban music. Keeping in mind, at all times, the African pulse and the sweetness and outburst of music of her wonderful island. ESP Nació en la localidad de Holguín, Cuba. Cantante, pianista y compositora; comenzó a estudiar música a los 9 anyos. Después de graduarse como directora de coros en el Conservatorio de Holguín, estudió canto clásico y contemporáneo en el Instituto Superior de Arte de la Habana. A los veinte anyos se traslada a la ciudad de Barcelona, Espanya, donde terminó sus estudios en la Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. A lo largo de su carrera ha participado en varios proyectos entre los que destacan “Yonder de Jesús y Banda Ashé”, “Bloque 53” “Entre Orillas” y muchos otros. Además ha participado en innumerables festivales de música clásica, salsa y world music en toda Europa. En el anyo 2017 presentó por primera vez su proyecto personal en el que nos invita a un paseo por las raíces, el legado y el futuro de la música Cubana, teniendo en todo momento muy presente el pulso africano y la dulzura y arrebato de las músicas de su tierra.
